Two sets of 304L stainless steel hydraulic equipment have passed hydrostatic tightness tests and are ready for packaging and shipment to the project site in Djibouti. The scope of supply includes a 1600×1000 wall-mounted penstock gate, a 2000×2000 stainless steel flap gate valve, along with supporting flange connectors, flange butterfly valves and resilient seated gate valves. Every unit has undergone rigorous tightness and structural strength inspection on the workshop pressure test bench, with all performance indicators qualified for long-term service under highly corrosive coastal saltwater conditions overseas.
The 1600×1000 wall-mounted penstock gate is designed for wall embedded installation. It can be fixed directly on the wall of water tanks, channels and intake structures. The gate features smooth opening and closing movement with precisely machined sealing surfaces to guarantee stable sealing performance under both forward and reverse water pressure, and the leakage rate meets strict international industry standards. Manufactured from 304L low-carbon stainless steel, this gate effectively avoids intergranular corrosion after welding. It delivers excellent resistance against seawater, brackish water and sewage erosion. This penstock is used for water flow regulation and cut-off, commonly installed in intake pump stations, wastewater treatment plants, storage reservoirs and irrigation channels, to adjust flow and isolate pipelines for maintenance.
The 2000×2000 stainless steel flap valve adopts a self-operated non-return structure. It opens and closes automatically driven by differential water pressure without extra actuators. When the pump runs for drainage, outflow pushes the flap open. Once the pump stops, the flap closes automatically to block backflow of water and sediment and mitigate water hammer risks. Fabricated from integrally welded 304L stainless steel plate, the flap valve has high structural rigidity, superior salt corrosion resistance and minimum maintenance demand. It is widely specified for coastal flood drainage pump outlets, discharge culverts, flood control networks and offshore effluent pipelines.
Djibouti sits on the Red Sea coast, characterized by high ambient temperature and high salinity in both air and water, which sets demanding anti-corrosion requirements for hydraulic equipment. The 304L stainless steel package is well-matched to this harsh local environment, cutting long-term replacement and maintenance expenses. Before delivery, all components go through full quality verification and are engineered for fast on-site installation and connection. This supply delivers dependable fluid control infrastructure for local water supply and flood drainage networks, supporting stable operation of coastal hydraulic projects across East Africa.
Our factory supplies custom stainless steel penstock gates, flap valves, butterfly valves and gate valves for seawater, wastewater, irrigation and coastal drainage projects. We provide full pressure testing, third-party inspection documents and professional technical guidance for overseas EPC contractors, water authority clients and engineering companies. All hydraulic valves and gates can be customized on dimensions, materials and connection forms to fit site-specific working heads, medium conditions and installation space. We have rich export experience for Africa, Middle East and Southeast Asia water projects, and we offer reliable after-sales support to reduce risks for international engineering partners.
