1.Preparation

Completely empty the medium inside the valve to avoid leakage or other dangerous situations during maintenance. Use special tools to disassemble the gate valve and note the location and connection of each component for subsequent assembly.

2.Check the valve disc

Carefully observe whether the flanged gete valve disc has obvious deformation, crack or wear and other defects. Use calipers and other measuring tools to measure the thickness, width and other dimensions of the valve disc to ensure that it meets the design requirements.

3.Repair the water gate valve disc

(1)Remove rust

Use sandpaper or a wire brush to remove rust and dirt from the surface of the valve disc, exposing the metal substrate.

(2)Repair welding cracks

If a crack is found on the valve disc, it is necessary to use a welding rod to repair welding. Before repairing welding, the crack should be polished with a file, and then the appropriate electrode should be selected for welding. When welding, attention should be paid to controlling temperature and speed to avoid overheating or overburning.

(3)Replace badly worn parts

For severely worn iron gate valve disc, you can consider replacing new parts. Before replacement, the size and shape of the severely worn part should be measured first, and then the appropriate material should be selected for processing and installation.

(4)Polishing treatment

The repaired valve disc is polished to make its surface smooth and smooth and improve the sealing performance.

4.Reassemble the valve

Reinstall the repaired valve disc into the Metal Seated gate valve, paying attention to the original position and connection mode. Assemble the other components in turn according to their original positions and connections, ensuring that each component is installed in place and securely secured. After the assembly is completed, the valve should be checked for tightness to ensure that no leakage occurs. If a leak is found, it should be treated promptly and reassembled.
