Recently, a batch of customized manual channel penstocks from our factory has passed full finished product inspection, packed and shipped to a waterworks project site in Singapore. These penstocks are sized 250×500mm, fabricated from Q235B carbon steel with hot-dip galvanized anti-corrosion coating, widely used for overseas municipal water supply and drainage, farm irrigation channels and wastewater treatment projects.

This series of manual carbon steel channel penstocks boasts outstanding technical advantages. Fitted with an open stem turbine manual actuator, the turbine drive provides large torque for effortless opening and closing without power supply. A one-piece stem protective cover is equipped to block sediment, rainwater and debris, protecting the screw thread and greatly extending service life. Adopting double-sided soft-hard composite sealing, the penstock achieves zero leakage on both upstream and downstream sides with stable pressure resistance, perfectly adapting to Singapore’s humid and rainy operating environment.

The frame and gate plate are integrally welded with qualified hot-dip galvanizing coating, delivering excellent rust and corrosion resistance, suitable for channels with seawater, sewage and weakly acidic or alkaline media. The modular structure facilitates simple on-site installation, and sealing components can be replaced without complete disassembly, greatly cutting customers’ maintenance costs.
