In the Jinbin workshop, stainless steel pneumatic damper valve customized by the customer are undergoing final on-off tests. These two air valves are pneumally operated, with a size of DN1200. After testing, the pneumatic switches are in good condition.
The material of this air damper valve is all stainless steel 904L, which can effectively resist pitting and crevice corrosion caused by non-oxidizing strong acids such as sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid and hydrochloric acid, as well as chloride ions (such as seawater and chlorine-containing solutions). It is far superior to ordinary stainless steels like 304 and 316L, and can prevent the valve body from rusting and leaking due to corrosive air flow/environment.
It has excellent strength and toughness in both normal and low-temperature environments (-196℃ to normal temperature). The air damper body is not prone to deformation due to fluctuations in air flow pressure or temperature changes, ensuring the sealing accuracy and on-off reliability of the air valve. It can still maintain stable corrosion resistance and mechanical properties in medium and high-temperature corrosive environments with a temperature of ≤400℃ (such as chemical tail gas and incineration flue gas), preventing the pneumatic damper body from aging and failing due to high temperatures.
The material of 904L has strong corrosion resistance and anti-aging capabilities, which can significantly reduce the replacement frequency of damper valves and lower long-term operation and maintenance costs. Especially for the air dampers in the ventilation systems of coastal power plants and seawater desalination plants, they need to withstand the high chloride ion sea breeze and seawater fog environment.
