Recently, the Jinbin factory completed a blind disc valve sample task. The high-pressure blind plate valve was customized according to the customer’s requirements, with a size of DN200 and a pressure of 150lb. (As shown in the following figure)

The common blind plate valve is suitable for low-pressure working conditions, with a design pressure usually ≤1.6MPa, and is often matched with water supply and drainage, low-pressure gas and other pipelines. The high-pressure blind plate valve is specially designed for high-pressure systems, with a rated pressure of ≥10MPa. It can be adapted to ultra-high pressure pipelines (such as above 100MPa) at the highest, meeting the control requirements of high-pressure fluids.

The common blind plate valve has a simple structure, mostly flange type or insert type. The valve body material is mainly cast iron or ordinary carbon steel, and the sealing parts are mostly rubber, with weak pressure resistance. The high-pressure blind plate valve adopts a thick-walled valve body (made of alloy or forged steel), is equipped with a double-seal/metal hard seal structure, and is also provided with pressure monitoring and anti-misoperation devices to prevent high-pressure leakage.

Ordinary goggle valves are used in low-pressure and low-risk fields, such as municipal pipe networks and low-pressure storage tanks. High-pressure blind plate valves are used in high-pressure, flammable and explosive working conditions such as petrochemicals (hydrogenation units), long-distance natural gas pipelines, and high-pressure boilers.

In conclusion, the high-pressure blind valve has strong pressure resistance and can withstand high pressure for a long time without deformation. The sealing reliability is high. The metal seal can withstand high temperature and high pressure, with an extremely low leakage rate. High safety, equipped with a built-in safety lock and pressure alarm to reduce risks in high-pressure working conditions.
