Recently, at Jinbin Valve workshop, two large-diameter electric three-way butterfly valves with specifications of DN1400 and material of Q235B have completed the full-process factory inspection and are ready for delivery to customers. These valves have passed strict hydrostatic pressure tests with zero leakage throughout, and the electric actuators operate smoothly after commissioning. Currently, they are undergoing detailed appearance finishing to ensure they are put into use in high-quality condition.
This electric three-way butterfly valve is a core control device specially designed for large-scale fluid transmission systems. The main body is made of Q235B carbon steel, which features excellent structural strength, impact resistance and pressure-bearing capacity. It is suitable for DN1400 large-diameter working conditions, meeting the large-flow transmission needs in scenarios such as water supply and drainage, municipal pipe networks, and industrial circulating water. The valve adopts a triple-eccentric sealing structure, and the sealing surface is made of wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant materials, which not only effectively reduces wear during opening and closing, but also achieves long-term stable zero-leakage sealing performance, maintaining reliable sealing even under high pressure and large differential pressure conditions. In the factory inspection stage, the technical team strictly follows industry standards to conduct hydrostatic sealing tests on the valves, with no leakage or deformation throughout, and the sealing performance meets the zero-leakage standard. At the same time, multiple rounds of opening and closing commissioning are carried out on the electric actuators to fully verify their stroke accuracy, response speed, limit protection and overload protection functions, ensuring stable operation under complex working conditions. In the appearance finishing stage, workers conduct comprehensive inspection, grinding and repainting on details such as valve body coating, flange sealing surface, and actuator terminal blocks, ensuring that both the appearance and performance of the product meet the standards, and satisfying customers’ stringent requirements for high-quality industrial equipment.
With core advantages such as large-diameter flow passage, flexible switching and automatic control, electric three-way butterfly valves are widely used in municipal water supply and drainage, sewage treatment, power plant circulating water, chemical fluid transmission, metallurgy and mining and other fields. A single valve can replace multiple traditional butterfly valves, greatly simplifying pipeline layout, reducing system energy consumption and later maintenance costs, making it an ideal choice for intelligent and efficient upgrading of large-scale fluid systems.
