The valve opens with the weight lifting and maintains the fixed potential energy of the heavy hammer for a long time. When the motor unit of the oil pump fails or the power is cut off, the weight hammer slowly decreases with the gravity of the ground, and closes the valve.

The slow close hydraulic control check butterfly valve is mainly installed at the inlet of hydropower station and turbine, and is used as the inlet valve of water turbine or the water pump outlet of various pump stations such as water conservancy, power, water supply and drainage, etc. The heavy hammer type hydraulic controlled slow closing check butterfly valve mainly consists of butterfly valve, transmission system, hydraulic station, heavy hammer energy storage mechanism, locking device, electrical control system and other six parts.
